More than 200 people gathered yesterday in front of the Palace of Justice in Brussels in support of the "six heroes." These six ordinary citizens are appearing in criminal court because they showed their solidarity during the violent expulsion of an undocumented migrant on a plane. They are being prosecuted for "severely disrupting air traffic." Forty associations supported them and decried the government’s strategy of criminalizing solidarity. At the end of the hearing, the court granted a five-month period to analyze a video showing how the passengers reacted to the eviction.
