The Carnegie Foundation and the Elijah Interfaith Institute has announced that the Peace Palace in The Hague is working on a historic friendship treaty between the largest religions in the world. The aim is for the leaders of world religions like the Pope, Grand Muftis and the Dalai Lama to sign a declaration of friendship in The Hague in June 2020, ANP reports. "The idea is that spiritual world leaders will promote solidarity between religions. This is also in line with their religions", Erik de Baedts, director of The Carnegie Foundation said.
