Instead of spending money to help integrate asylum seekers, Italy's government is sending money, supplies and experts to Libya to train the Coast Guard to pick up migrants before they can reach European waters and return them to Libya.

If migrants refuse to go back, they are left in the water to drown.

If they do go back, they often get tortured and murdered. We are literally complicit in torture and murder. That should bother every single European.
