Mikhail Stoyanov was found dead on October 1, 2008, in a park in Sofia, Bulgaria. He was a medical student in the last year of his studies. The defendants in the case, Alexander Georgiev and Radoslav Kirchev, were part of a group of young people who, in their own words, "clear the park of gays," and Mikhail resembled one. He was killed by suffocation. Sofia City Court postponed the case once again, with November 28 set as the new trial date.
