Sixteen Roma people, all of them citizens of Romania, have made a complaint against Poland to the European Court of Human Rights for having their houses razed in July 2015 by Wroclaw city authorities. There were four houses in the encampment and one shed for heating material and a power generator. The plaintiffs, including children and adults, lived there from 2009 to the day of demolition. They were not informed about the plans of the encampment's destruction or the date of eviction. They left their houses in the morning on July 22 and returned later in the day to find their homes destroyed.
