The relocation of refugees from Greece to Western Europe started on November 4. A first group of 30 people - four Syrian families and two from Iraq - flew from Athens to Brussels on a commercial flight. From Brussels they traveled on to Luxembourg and a refugee reception center, the authorities in Athens announced. A number of EU countries agreed in September to this relocation program, which provides for the relocation of almost 160,000 asylum seekers from Italy and Greece to Northern and Western Europe.
