Given the large influx of refugees into Belgium and the prejudices against them, a platform of organizations has launched a major operation to support and make visible the solidarity towards refugees felt by many Belgians. Entitled #RefugeesWelcome #WithOpenArms, this action proposes to the public to show their solidarity with the refugees and to take concrete action to promote their reception. The platform has launched an information website, PicBadge and an online appeal that will be sent to the Belgian government.
