Since early June, more than 100 refugees from Syria are demonstrating in Dortmund, Germany for faster asylum procedures. If they get approval, their families can travel safely from the Syrian war zone to Germany. A Syrian journalist has been on a hunger strike for several days. Neo-Nazis have tried to attack the protest camp and police fear more assaults by right-wing groups might follow. Many people are supporting the camp with donations of blankets, food and water.
