Citizens of Sarajevo are trying to save Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakaš General Hospital from the planned merger with the University Clinical Center - a move that would lead to the closure of the hospital. Activists warn that authorities want to take over the hospital building and use it as a private facility, further reducing the already insufficient hospital capacity and creating even longer waiting lists for examinations and treatment. News agency Patrija has reported that the doctors were forced to sign a "consensual request" to move to the other hospital.
