Rome is the first European capital that many who are escaping starvation and war will see. It is the first huge city migrants know during their journey. Rome is supposed to be multi-ethnic, a crossroads of stories and cultures, but this town has for a long time been a symbol of exclusion and marginalization. Hundreds of migrants are abandoned and left to themselves in Rome's streets.

Civil society is organizing a demonstration at 2:00 p.m. on December 17 at the Piazza della Repubblica in Rome. Show your support and solidarity with migrants by taking part!
