There is a need to change regulations of how driving exams are carried out in Poland in order to enable foreigners who do not speak the Polish language to be assisted by a certified translator during the theoretical part of the exam. Present rules make it impossible for non-Polish speakers to take the exam. Although at some driving centers the exams can be taken in other language, usually it is one of the most common ones, e.g. English or German. The Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights is urging the Ministry of Infrastructure to change the laws.
