The Hungarian Prime Minister will take part in the European Parliament’s plenary session on 11 September, when MEPs will discuss a report on the rule of law in Hungary. The report, which was prepared by Green MEP Judith Sargentini, was approved by the European Pariament's civil liberties committee in June and calls for an 'Article 7' procedure to be launched against Hungary. The governing Fidesz party expects the report to be passed by MEPs.
