Operation Condor was an agreement made by South American military dictatorships in the 1970s and '80s that resulted in a brutal campaign of torture, abduction and murder of political opponents. On January 17, 27 of those responsible for Operation Condor were sentenced in Italy, although only 8 life terms were handed down, and there were 19 acquittals.
On Wednesday, February 15, Associazone Antigone & CILD will host an event in Rome, featuring many special guests, to discuss the final sentencing. We hope to see you there!
