At the end of September, nine NGOs – four from Italy (Associazione Luca Coscioni, Associazione Radicale Certi Diritti, Famiglie Arcobaleno, UAAR) and five from other countries (Men Having Babies, Our Family Coalition, Meer dan Gewest, Israeli Gay Fathers’ Association and L'ASBL Homoparentalités) – met in Brussels for the second conference on parental option for LGBTI persons in Europe, and created an international coalition to advocate for ethical surrogacy. The first act of the newly born coalition has been the approval of a set of guidelines for ethical surrogacy.
