The European Implementation Network (EIN) is a new project to respond to the growing problem of non-implementation of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights by member states or their low effectiveness in this field. At the end of 2015, 10,650 judgements were not implemented, including 346 judgements concerning Poland. The NGO was founded by the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, Judgment Watch and the Open Society Justice Initiative, together with academics and human rights activists. It was registered in Strasbourg in January 2017 and currently has 16 members from all over Europe.
