A website making it easier for women to acquire senior managerial posts in businesses has been opened by Minister for Education, Culture and Science Jet Bussemaker. On the website one can view which vacancies will occur in the years to come on the boards of directors in the 200 largest companies in the Netherlands. The information is drawn from public sources, such as annual reports. Bussemaker wants to give companies one more chance to ensure women make up at least 30 percent of leadership positions. If the goal is not met, she will introduce a women quota.
