A former far-right PVV (Party for Freedom) politician for the Province of Limburg in the Netherlands has been sentenced to 18 months in jail (of which four are conditional) for forgery and embezzlement of €176.999. He used PVV debit and credit cards for personal purposes. To cover it up, he forged receipts and other supporting documents. The embezzled funds were spent on dinners, holidays, travel, alcohol and drugs.
