Three men have been charged with the murder of the anti-corruption journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia, who was killed by a car bomb in October. The men pleaded not guilty, according to Maltese media reports, though other reports say they were found in possession of bomb-making material and weapons. The men were among 10 people arrested in police raids on Monday. According to Maltese law, people under arrest must be charged within 48 hours or released. In the last year, Caruana Galizia published stories alleging corruption involving Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and his closest allies.
