The
NGO A Buon Diritto issued its first report on the state of human rights in
Italy in 2014 (Rapporto sullo stato dei diritti in Italia). The report answered the need for a unified instrument to overview the state of human rights in Italy. The result of the study is an online, easy-to-consult document that shows how Italy is doing in 16 different areas, among
which there are: disability, religion, education, LGBT, Roma rights, immigration,
freedom of expression, environment, and detainees. The report has been updated
to take into account developments of 2016.
