A Catholic school in Trento has been found guilty of discriminating against a gay teacher. During her employment, the female teacher was questioned by a nun about her sexual orientation. The teacher refused to discuss her private life and subsequently her job contract was not renewed. The Rovereto labor court has now decided in the favor of the teacher, and the school was ordered to pay 25,000 euros to the teacher and 1,500 euros each to the labor union and the civil rights association involved.
