A court in Milan has ordered Italy's Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Economics to refund the unjust fees that three irregular migrants had to pay to apply for residency permits. The tax, introduced in 2011, can amount to between 100 and 245 euros. In May 2015, the Administrative Court of Latium, following a decision of the EU Court of Justice, quashed the decree. Despite both court orders, the government has continued to request the payment of the fee.
