A resolution has been issued in the city of Barletta to provide Roma with emergency housing. The project has a budget of 100,000 euros, and six workers will install an "emergency service, reception and staging area for a nomadic ethnic group." The problem with the resolution is that it still does not give an adequate solution to the social exclusion and marginalization of Roma people. This and other housing solutions built only for Roma people forces them to live segregated, far from everyday services and residential neighborhoods, and it only strengthens discrimination.
