A Milan court has agreed with an appeal from a young man who was denied citizenship in Italy because of the actions of his parents. The man, born in Italy to Filipino parents, had his citizenship application denied because his parents had been illegal migrants for two years before receiving their regular documents. The judges ruled that the "faults" of the parents do not fall on the children.
