Many students with a physical or mental disability have, two years after the introduction of inclusive education, no access to adequate education, according to the Dutch Council for Education. Since the introduction of inclusive education, schools are responsible for providing extra support for students with ADHD, autism or a chronic disease. In each region, a school has to specialize in a certain disability. The Council for Education states that there are barely any agreements about which school would specialize in which type of student.
