A survey by Osservatorio Giovani dell’Istituto Toniolo revealed that the topic of immigration induces 56.8 percent of the hate speech spoken by youths on social media Italy, making immigrants the most targeted minority in the country. From February 17-18, Italy will host a two-day event to combat this hostility and stop hate in the "virtual world" from poisoning social norms in reality. The event will allow participants to sign a petition and debate topics including journalism & mass media, business & advertising and policy & law.
