In late December, the third "Report on Immigration and Business 2016" was presented by the Study and Research Centre IDOS. The report found that at the end of 2015, 9.1 percent of businesses are led by immigrants, and that they generate €96 billion for the Italian economy, or 6.7 percent of the county's entire economic output. Eight out of 10 businesses are sole traders.
