A Warsaw court has issued a ruling regarding the boycott of a well-known beer, saying that spilling the beer in streets and a Warsaw café's decision to stop selling it cannot be considered part of an ideological boycott of the brand. The action is a response to homophobic Facebook comments by the company's CEO. According to the judgment, which is not final, activists engaged in unfair business practices by organizing the boycott as it did not serve any social purpose. The organizers must pay 5,000 Polish złoty (about 1,180 euros) for social projects and publish an apology on Facebook.
