The Hungarian Parliament on Tuesday passed a
resolution calling on the government to support Poland and
make sure it avoids being stripped of the rights guaranteed by the EU
treaty, Zsolt
Németh, an member of parliament of the ruling Fidesz party, told the Polish Press Agency.
With the resolution, the government sends a political message to Brussels by showing support for Poland in its fight with the European Commission in the ongoing
rule of law procedure triggering Article 7 of the Lisbon Treaty.
