A court ruling that declared our client, Ottó Szalai Jr., guilty of slander was judged unconstitutional by a recent decision of the Hungarian Constitutional Court. The decision is extremely important since it restated that criticizing the actions of public figures and persons exercising public power represents a fundamental liberty in a democratic society.
