HCLU Continues to Fight for the Freedom of Conscience

The Hungarian state has been ordered by the European Court of Human Rights to pay a compensation of 554,800 euros (176 million forints).

by Hungarian Civil Liberties Union
The Hungarian government has since 2011 been repeatedly warned by national and international actors, therefore this incredible penalty is only the result of the foolish stubbornness of the government.

The Hungarian Civil Liberties Union asks all citizens to demand that the government make appropriate modifications to the Church Law and the Fundamental Law, thereby avoiding other senseless spendings, the costs of which are covered by taxpayers.
