The judge of the Spanish National Court investigating the case against the puppeteers, in whose puppet show appeared a banner stating "Gora Alka-ETA," had earlier sentenced them to preventative detention. The judge has now officially charged the two with glorification of terrorism. The case remains open, as the puppeteers are also accused of the crime of hate speech; this must be investigated by a lower court judge. Rights International Spain, together with other organizations, has addressed the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Arrest to report this case.
