A Lithuanian online commenter has been ordered by a court to pay a fine of roughly 300 euros for an anonymous comment he made insulting intelligence officers, calling them "provocateurs" and "pedophiles." In its peculiar ruling, the court held that the comment amounted to public expression of contempt and incitement of hatred against intelligence officers as a group because of their "social status."
