It should be legally allowed for a child to have more than two parents. "Today, different family situations exist more than ever. Single parent families, blended families, rainbow families. The State Commission aims to legally secure the interests of children in these situations," the State Commission for Reassessment of Parenthood writes. As the amount of multi-parent families is rising, the Commission states it is logical that a child should legally be allowed to have multiple parents. The maximum should be four parents, which would constitute two households.
