The judges at the Central Appeals Court warn of legal inequality, destruction of knowledge and higher costs if their body is to be closed. The government's plan to close this court will have a "disastrous" impact on the quality of social security and public servants cases. In a manifest published in the Volkskrant, written on behalf of all 49 judges, the judges express their "intense concern" about the decision. The judges find that a fundamental discussion on this legislative proposal, which affects the heart of the rule of law, has not been conducted.
