A school in Denmark has sorted classes by ethnicity to prevent autochthonous students from leaving. This is caused, says the principal, by the vast increase of immigrants, which has affected the ratios between autochthonous and immigrant students (these changed from 75/25 percent to 25/75 percent, respectively). For this reason, the school has divided the students into four immigrant classes and three mixed classes. The principal calls it a "pedagogical and social decision" and has received support from students. The Danish minister of education has asked the school for clarification.
