The Court in The Hague will have its first public hearing in the criminal case against MP Geert Wilders (PVV) on March 18, 2016. The politician is being prosecuted because in 2014, he asked his supporters in a pub in The Hague whether they wanted more or fewer Moroccans in their town and in the Netherlands. "Fewer, fewer, fewer!" the crowd chanted. "We'll fix it," the PVV leader responded. Over 6,400 police reports followed this statement. The Public Prosecution Department accuses Wilders of insulting a group of people based on their race and incitement to discrimination and hatred.
