An EU Court of Justice ruling concluded that hyperlinks to copyrighted content are legal, as long as the source is freely accessible. In the particular case, a Swedish journalists took umbrage with the fact that other sites that were publishing links to their work did so without permission and should've paid for it. The court, however, disagreed.
