The Consumentenbond (a non-profit organization which promotes consumers protection) and the Data Privacy Foundation have filed a mass claim against Facebook for breaching the privacy of Dutch users. Facebook gathered and sold private data to companies without the consent of users. Users were mislead by the claim that use of Facebook would always be free while in fact they were paying with their data. Read more here.
