The Civil Observatory on Democracy has been launched. The new effort is an initiative of several NGOs that are advocates of respecting and protecting human rights, the transparency and responsibility of public authorities and the quality of the legislative process. The observatory documents opinions, statements and applications of social organizations, institutions and the legal environment, professional groups and citizens with regard to changing laws concerning human rights and freedoms, democratic legal order and the state’s political system.
