Bulgarian MEP Angel Djambazki and a member of the Bulgarian Parliament have sent a letter to the Bulgarian Prosecutor's Office asking for an investigation into the financing and activities of Liberties member the Bulgarian Helsinki Committee (BHC). The politicians call it an "anti-Bulgarian" organisation, though it is the largest human rights group in the country. The reason for the request is a letter issued a few days ago by the BHC in which the organisation expresses concerns about the respect of the rights of LGBTI staff at the European Medicines Agency in case it is moved to Bulgaria.
