Inefficient use of money provided for the integration of refugees and unsatisfactory results in the provision of housing, access to employment, education and health are the most glaring findings of the Bulgarian National Audit Office's audit of Bulgaria's State Agency for Refugees for the period 2011 to 2013 inclusive. The agency failed to meet the objectives of the National Program for Integration of Refugees - to ensure their active and equal participation in the economic, social and cultural life of Bulgarian society. Very few refugees were included in the integration program at all.
