Hundreds of runners participated in the first Run for Peace that was held in Belgrade at the end of February in support of all refugees from countries affected by armed conflict. Racing teams were followed by tanks and military vehicles - a symbolic way to illustrate the fate of refugees who are forced to run in order to save their lives.
