To celebrate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the German association of rape crisis and women’s counseling centers, bff, has started the campaign "Superheroine against Violence." The campaign is centered on a video using a simple language about a superheroine fighting different forms of violence against women. It links to a website showing counseling centers throughout Germany. The goal is to inform women, particularly those who don’t speak German very well and those with disabilities, about their rights and to motivate them to get support if needed.
