Hundreds of lawyers participated in the July 17 demonstration in front of the Ministry of Justice to protest against the Legal Aid Bill, which is currently being debated in Parliament. The demonstration was called by the main associations of lawyers and was attended by the president of the General Council of the Spanish Legal Profession and the heads of most of the bar associations of the country, among others. Rights International Spain has been critical of the bill and participated in the protest against it.
