Polish prosecutors were asked by police to examine the evidence against ultra-nationalists who demonstrated at Auschwitz on Holocaust Memorial Day. Local police sent a video of a group of people who, under a large Polish flag, marched around the Nazi death camp on Sunday. The group of people was led by Piotr Rybak, who was convicted in 2015 for publicly burning an effigy representing a Jew. The main commemoration at Auschwitz on Sunday involved Jewish survivors and Polish government officials.
