The Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights is calling for the intervention of international organizations to help stem the repeated acts of violence against, among others, foreigners living in Poland and members of national and ethnic minorities, in the face of authorities' failure to respond to these events. Since mid-2015, a series of attacks against foreigners, especially those perceived by perpetrators (often wrongly) as Muslims or Arabs, has been reported. Ukrainians have also been victims of physical and symbolic aggression.
