Poland and the Czech Republic are pushing back on EU plans to create a new border force with 10,000 additional guards. The new body would be under the control of Frontex, the EU border agency. But both Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Moraiwecki, and Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis voiced reservations about the idea. "We worry that more [EU] money for Frontex will mean less money for structural funds, less money for road or railway development," Morawiecki said. The plan could be approved as early as next week, when EU leaders hold a summit.
