The UK's failure to guarantee the rights of EU workers following Brexit would be devastating to academia, warns a letter by dozens of Oxford University heads to the House of Commons. European staff "are worried, some are desperate, some are already making plans to leave," the letter, signed by Vice Chancellor Louise Richardson and 35 other university leaders, reads. The letter was published ahead of a scheduled vote on Monday in the House of Commons on an amendment that guarantees EU citizens living in the UK the right to remain in the country after it leaves the EU.
