According to the results of a survey by Czech bank CSOB, only 48 percent of 500 surveyed small and medium companies would employ a Roma. Fifteen percent of companies said they would never employ a Roma, even if they had the required qualifications, and 33 percent admitted they would "probably not" hire a Roma. According to the survey, people with disabilities and foreigners from the Eastern Bloc countries are much more likely than Roma to find work in the Czech Republic.
