Italian NGO Cittadini del Mondo has launched the new fundraising campaign 'Multiculturalism breaks down walls' in order to expand and renovate the multicultural library in Rome. Cittadini del Mondo is an independent non-profit volunteer organisation that aims to protect the rights of migrants and build an intercultural society. Through its commitment to fighting discrimination and social exclusion, it has operated in Rome's most dramatic locations, such as the Selam Palace, where the organisation offers social and health assistance to 1,200 vulnerable refugees.
